When you create a K2 account, we collect your email address, display name, and a securely hashed version of your password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, and we store only a Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers.
2. How We Use It
We use your information to operate the K2 platform, authenticate your sessions, deliver email notifications such as verification and password reset messages, manage your subscription, and improve the overall product experience. We do not use your data for advertising purposes, and we do not build advertising profiles from your activity on the platform.
3. Data Storage
Your account data is stored in secure, encrypted databases hosted by professional cloud infrastructure providers. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms and are never stored in plaintext. Session tokens are managed via secure HTTP-only cookies. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our systems.
4. Third Parties
We use a limited number of third-party services to operate K2: Stripe for payment processing, cloud infrastructure providers for hosting, and transactional email services for account-related communications. These providers only receive the minimum information necessary to perform their function. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or any unrelated purposes.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings.
